Let’s review the multitude of positions that are organized to scam other people.
Many of these scams and Hussles are derived from older scams that were done outside of cyber space. The virtual world and internet are nothing more than new playgrounds for the same old tricks.
Many of these online scams cause their victims to lose money, time, reputation, and can give them legal problems.
Many of these can be sought out and described in more detail on the Better Business Bureau website.
Item Creation scam
- Invest hundreds of dollars in instructions and materials and make massive amounts of money fast.
- The scam here is the product will not sell!
Chain letter
- Just give us ten dollars and duplicate this letter and send it to our clients.
- Only people that benefit are those who started the program.
Multi-level Marketing (MLM)
- Most often known as the classic Pyramid scheme.
- “Sell my product and recruit others to sell my product and you will make massive amounts of money from me, and you will make more off of those below you”
- Requires multitudes of (Down lines: people who work underneath you)
There are many more types of scams that you can run into on the internet, use your head and common sense, if there is investment involved then it is often a scam.
